The solution has been posted many times in this thread.
On VE, this is done by changing the setting using a Tech2 or similar. It’s set to “always on” and that needs to be disabled.
On VZ there is a module that is removed. No wiring to re jig. It’s unplugged and harness is reconnected minus the module.
