This is my plan, what's your set up if you don't mind me asking? In the Magnum I'm running HID lows, LED highs and every other bulb has been replaced by LED's.
What details are you after? This is my plan, what's your set up if you don't mind me asking?
Ah, sorry thought you had a VF..... Anyway, 2 problems, not so keen on 6000k colour temp, for country night driving and I'd like the ballast to be in the dust cap, and some high beams also struggle to perform better than their HID low beam cousins, I have heard a few people online mention they have sourced different colour temp low beam HID, trouble is I found they are pretty much not available anymore. When it comes to the High beam, I want a LED globe that fits in the dust cap, and gives good light beyond a HID low. What details are you after?
Be aware that the VF is very fussy, lamps that are 'Canbus compatible' may give error messages.
Lamps that work in a VE aren't always compatible with VF.
Most T10 lamps will work though.

Yeah it's a problem, however alot seem to be going that way, light bars are fine for all the other cars I have, not the 17 Redline, would like that unadulterated, somehow have actual light not candles..i don't think you are going to get an LED to outperform a HID that fits in the dust cap.
have you considered a light bar?

Oh! A photo opportunity...
I use a Narva Explora on our trips.
Was a big improvement with the halogens but obviously doesn't have the impact with the led headlights.
It does highlight the difference between 6500k and 5500k, though.View attachment 205818

Yeah, imagine my surprise when I ordered a beef burger...
