Pretty sure its real. The guy was asking for VF interior parts so he can play around with that next.

If i can find his post maybe i can ask him more questions. Its been a while though so dont hold your breath lol

Looks to me, he just changed over parts from a White VF without painting at all lol

I saw a photo on gumtree a few weeks of a bloke doing the VF S2 conversion on his VE ute. Looked like a good job, all the panels lined up well. He had started to do the interior as well, thats why i found it, coz he was selling ve interior parts.

There’s a guy on YouTube that’s swapping a VF front onto a ve wagon. Only issue he has come across is the bonnet hinges need swapped as well. Just the way the VF side guards wrap up and over the top.

Fk! Did you see the butchering done on those hinges! All I see is leaks and rust in 10 years. Couldn't watch it.
Good move would be to get to a panel beaters and get them to weave their skills on swapping the hinges and trimming, then use a VF plastic plenum cover. Other than that, it looked good.
He did the final update yesterday.

Not a fan of painting the Highbeam reflector black, but there it is.

*Also the way he does the bonnet hinge makes my eye twitch. It's dangerous and a ghetto solution.
He should have just taken it in to a panel beaters and got them to remove the old hinge and weld on the VF bonnet hinge properly.
