18-19l/100k for me (all stop/start suburban driving). Drove to Lorne this week and got a 100k average of 9.7 though on the highway.

G6ET was around 16-17 around town, and my Honda Euro (2.4l) was around 12.5.

No freeways in my daily travel.

Now it's settled in I'm down to around 16L/100. Don't see it dropping much more than that for the type of driving that I do.

so had the new wagon for a week, first tank of fuel essentially gone, low fuel warning point. ~ 1/8 tank left, which works out to be about 10L to go (71L tank)

So filled her up with 95, she took 61 litres,
we have travelled 360 km predominantly around town, av speed 34km/h

So we achieved about 17L/100km essentially driving like grandma, taking it easy

VF2 SS Black Edition Sedan Manual
Since the 6.2 has been around for a few months now, it would be interesting to see what fuel consumption figures people are getting.
I have a VF2 SS "Black" Manual, using 98, Freeway running to work, (30-40 minute drive), stop-start for 25 minutes on the way home, then Freeway, driven every day, 9000k's, best figure of 9.8L/100, (can supply photo as proof if required), average of 11.5-11.8.

Tyre Pressure makes a difference; What Pressure are you running? I have tried 36psi, (nicer ride), and all pressures up to and including 40psi, (obviously firmer/rougher ride), without changing anything else and found I can get up to an extra 50 km/tank at higher tyre pressure.

I'm not convinced that's not just advertising.
Totally different car from a totally different era, I know, but our (good condition low km) VS Ecomoo was about 6.5L/100km on cruise-control on the freeway vs ~15L/100km in our usual 'round-the-burbs usage. The VF1 uses about the same 'round-the-burbs.
You really should get your car tuned to your driving, particularly the AFM.
Minimum saving 10%, depends on how hilly and how many turns in your burb. I live near beach so is flat good air and not twisty, drive like your mum and AFM gets less than 8l/100k 50-80kph.
The Australian stock tune hardly puts AFM to use coz sounds different. As a result the consensus is that AFM only works at highway speed micro throttle, but it is totally different in the Camaro tune.

I have achieved a best of 6.0/100 over a 100km distance in my tuned L77. As Monstar alluded to, it has been tuned to maximise AFM (and e85).

2016 VFII SSV Redline
VEHICLE: 2016 VFII Redline. Manual. 9,500km. Runs BP 98. 37psi cold tyre pressures.
DRIVING CONDITIONS: Heavy fun foot on most drives. Bi-Modal switched on. ~50/50 suburb / freeway driving split.
FUEL CONSUMPTION: For trip computer recorded average speeds of 46km/h to 54km/h over the life of a tank, the Redline drinks between 12.5 l/100km and 13.3 l/100km. So averaging 12.9 l/100km.
