VG Commodore Export

I have a VG V6 commodore Ute here in nz, carjam says that there is only 1 registered VG in nz I know that it probably isn’t right I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find anything else about how many VG were sent over here etc if any of yous know any history on them would be appreciated cheers

Well according to Wikipedia, "it is not known whether there were any commercial exports of the VG Utility."

Would wager Holden probably didn't consider NZ an "export country" in the traditional sense, just more Australia that's further away than Tasmania given how long they were selling there for. Ford too in terms of the Falcon.

There were quite a few imported to NZ, but they were not all registered exactly the same. For example.

NZ is NZ .................... Aus is a collection grumpy States with their own pork barreling priorities.
That would require them to arrange and agree on something that is of no interest to them.
