Hi all,
Putting the dash in my VH SS, and put the dash cluster in with the wiper dowel, A/C switch, etc. and I looked at one of the switches which has a dot and have no idea what it is for. I've looked online and people are saying it is a spot light switch? Can someone please clear this up for me and tell me what it is? :p:p:D

Cheers everyone!

More cars than I've got space to park!
Nah, I reckon the "dot" is way too perfect to be a drop of glue.

I'm going with your first guess, I think it's a GMP&A accessory (possibly even aftermarket), likely a spotlight / foglight switch?

I'd have to rummage through all my boxes but I think I recall seeing one of those somewhere around here.

Does it have a part number on the back?

We used to call it an On/Off switch. Could be used for driving lights.

Friends installed one back in the 80’s so there were no blank switches.

Cheers

Thanks mate, there is no part number on the back, only 'GM' stamped into it
