Just letting you know...

do not compress your hard drive if using vista....

when you restart your computer it will be unable to boot because BOOTMGR.exe will have corrupted.

I did this the other day and had no choice but to reformat:bang:

why bother compressing the hdd in the first place? hdd storage is cheap as chips these days

true that i picked up an external hd 149 gig for 100 bucks half full already hhaha

no need to compress mine, 500gb hdd :p will last me a long time b4 it gets full :D
Depends what you do mate, I have not even had my new comp running for a week and I have filled half of a 250GB drive and 100GB of a 750GB one.

Trust me, i have been asking myself that question for the last couple of days... and i just got a 500gb external...

i started this thread just to give everyone a heads up..
