Just wondering do the VK V8 and VK 6 cylinder front springs fit the same?

I have my front lowered a lot and I want it to go back to standard or only 2 inches lower. Would I need to replace the struts too?

Anyone have springs for sale? Cheers.

The springs will fit. Only difference between them is that V8 springs are a thicker set, for the weight of the V8 motor

Cheers. I'm in a situation now that I don't know how low my front springs are. I am guessing 30mm approx lower than standard but I think possibly the front springs have gone lower over the years due to sagging. My struts are good. I don't want to get another set of low (30mm) springs and find they are just as low as they are now.

Another thing to check on the front end of your car is the strut top bearing caps make sure they havent failed or started to sag as well.

Personally I run King springs in my VK and havent had any sagging problems, The ride height was checked by the auto engineer and it passed my 1mm so I dont have any room for sagging.

I suggest you buy a new pair of V8 springs for your car and not second hand.

cheers

Roads must be good in south east queensland? SL if you want to drive it often. ssl if you spend most of your time looking at the car when I last had a 2 inch lowered Vk it found plenty of places to scrape. Dont forget the short shocks for the rear.
