VN headlight switch wiring

Hi just want to know if any one out there can help, im 2/3rds the way into building a VH commy with a VN S1 engine and auto, i am running the whole VN loom in the car but am using the head light switch from a VR/S Commy and i am having trouble getting it right. The problem is i have wired it up and got the park lights, and high beam going but i get the low beam lit when the switch is on parkers. If anyone can help that would be great thanks guys...

VN dash clusters

Another question to go with the previous one is can the loom on a VN dash cluster run either non tacho and tacho versions of the cluster or are they wired differntly as i am wanting to use the vn cluster in my vh to mate with the three vn loom plugs already installed in the car, help please
