Been busy with other stuff for a while - but finally got some time to work on the car again...

Took her for her maiden voyage to the servo last night and filled up with LPG

- Drives real nice (considering no wheel alignment/etc)
- brakes great - we're talking big toe lock-ups haha...
- the handbrake shoes are dragging a little
- the front wheels scrape a little when cornering and hit a bump (I suspect this is just coz the caster angle)
- needs a tune
- needs engine belt tensioner and re-engineering... as soon as I whack a belt on the charger and don't bypass it, I'm getting epic belt slip.
- needs washer bottle/oil:air separator & overflow bottle...
- needs bonnet struts (dunno where I put those little ball thinggies)
- needs a WASH and a vacuum and a window clean and a detail!
- don't stress - I've got some new plates coming in the mail...
- that's it!!

so I'll work on all that stuff over the weekend and start tuning!

So i did a few small things today, got the wideband onto her and got it to idle a bit more steadily etc.

Went for a few joy-rides, got a bit of courage up to give it a squirt - we're going to get along juuust fiiine. I also ran into the common problem of the GRA throttle blowing open under a bit of boost... that was certainly an interesting 8000rpm key-off adventure!

Also rigged a temp belt arrangement for the blower - the noises this thing makes are unreal...

Gonna work on all those "little things" this week sometime. If all goes well she'll be dyno-bound after that!!

haha that feeling sucks !! :/ My VR 5L's (aftermarket rubbish) cruise control cable jammed between some pipes and did the same thing!

What's the fix for this on yours? Can't imagine it's a case of just living with it
