Have been thinking about doing the same thing since I seen the white one with a turbo strapped to it

with the setup and no belt, have you thought about putting the p/s pump back on but remove the 10 veins from it's internals, plug the output and return line points and fill it with some oil for lubrication and put a shorter belt on suitable for models without a/c? might be easier/cheaper than getting a pulley and setting it up correctly as the belt needs something there to run it past the tensioner.

Guys, still no go but I have given in and taking it to a guy to have a look at it this week. Let you know how it goes.
