I changed my auto tranny over recently. Now the new (read second hand) one makes a tapping sound in first and second, only under load. The noise isnt apparent in 3rd or overdrive. A mate suggested some kind of piston in the tranny that can 'rattle'. It would sound like a big end noise, but its not there in neutral either. Any hints guys?
