Hey i reckon iv seen a thread before on this but i cant find it.

Just got a VR had it sitting in the shed for a month with no batt and now the radio is locked...

how do i unlock it??

This should work:
turn ignition to accessories and turn radio on ("1" will appear)
press the radio buttons in your P.I.N. order
the radio will shortly begin to play.

if you stuff up "2" will appear ....you can try again once but then you must wait 1 hour to do it aagain.

or you can leave the radio powered for an hour and it will work anyway.

I'm not completely sure but I don't think that works with the factory radio - the instructions I gave came from the owners handbook and it says that if you stuffup entering the code in you have to wait an hour and then try entering the code in again.

funny that, I can't remember what my book says, but I do remember when I bought the car with the factory radio in it (VS) no code was supplied, so I just drove around with it saying 1 for an hour and it worked.
