Remember that the list is of "options"......most BT1's will only have 1 or 2 of the above options. These vehicles were bought by Customs, Fire depts, military police etc as well as police......they were a vehicle offered to all government departments, including local, state and federal at a very good price and usually through lease via Dept of Asset Services. On top of these, all options available to the general public were also available including taxi brake pads/heavy duty radiator/towpack.
Just out of interest, I recently watched a patrol car grab a car that changed lanes in front of me without indicating....it was simply a roar....siren...flashing light and wham, bang he was on his tail.....very impressive and a bit gung-ho but this copper knew how to drive.

The chip was different but it was for things like increased idle etc, no real power gains.

I have a white plug connection in the glove box as well as the extra light and siren wiring in my VS, I assume it was for the blue light they used to pop out onto the roof on unmarked vehicles.
