Vr wagon diff questions

Hey guys I have a vr auto wagon and I need to replace the diff, but I'm not to sure if I specifically need a vr wagon diff or can it be vt, vn etc? And what would be the best to put in if you can put other models in? I'm not looking for an LSD I'm just getting one from the reckers

VN to VT S1 centres are the same, regardless of IRS or live axle.

Are you after complete diff or just the center?? Pretty sure vn to vs wagon complete diffs are the same. I think sedans are different. Diff gears are the same right through. Vt's ran irs so that wont work. If you want you could change the ratio to maybe 3:45 to give you better acceleration but that will affect your spedo. Standard is 3:08.

I'm after just the centre, must have a bung bearing. So the vt is where it changes and I can't use vt and earlier centre diffs correct?

You can use vt series 1 and earlier diff centres.
