i have a vs 494 bcm and it has says timed override on it what dose that mean ive just changed over the body loom so i can add power windows will that affect it in an way please help $_57.jpg

Timed override means you can bypass the engine immobiliser/key reader in an emergency by leaving the ignition key to the ON position for 45 minutes on series 1 VS models and 120 minutes on series 2 VS models. Models like VP and early VR's had a key override switch in the front passenger door jamb to bypass the security/immobiliser, and this was changed to a timed bypass setup on later model VR's.

No it shouldn't as long as the loom your going to use came from a VS that had a HI or LUX type BCM originally fitted. I think the LOW type BCM in VS's had different BCM wiring or different plugs or both..
