VS commodore ticking / knocking noise

i have a VS that there is a noise ticking / knocking noise thinking it maybe lifters, auto flex plate, what else could it be???

ticking can come from injectores...i have ticking in my maloo ( not loud, but its norm) if its a knocking sound there will be issues of some type.get a mech to check it out if its knocking and not ticking................cheeers

A leaking exhaust or exhaust manifold can sometimes make these engines sound like theyve got bad lifter tick etc etc.If its got standard exhaust manifolds, these are prone to cracking and should be carefully checked, especially the passenger side manifold.
