vs engine swap with trouble

Vs executive v6 ecotec
recently did a vs to vs engine swap. just finished putting car back together hooked up everything both cars were working before the swap. now i am getting no power to the ignition the battery is sending power out from it but is not getting to ignition. also the first time i put the battery terminals back on the car it arced off on both the earths and the terminals. both the earths were hooked up to the body put the positive on first then the negative but it arced off the negative any help appreciated.

you sure that all the power wires are on properly and you havnt got one hooked onto earth. check fusible links, retrace everything and double check

vs commodore
Check that the engine block earth has been reconnected and is clean and tight.. This lead connects the block near the front engine mount on the drivers side.
