Yep you can use vb to vp lower control arms

vn or vl p/steer rack

vl p/steer intermediate shaft

or vb to vk manual rack with early k frame.

I would use the VS arms, then you can run some spacers on the rear or get custom off set wheels. The suspension geometry is better with the VS arms.

VS arms are longer than pre VP....

Oh and they have a different balljoint arrangement

So a no go with that set up

Hence why I said use spacers at the rear.

Yes the ball joint is different but if you have all the other stuff you can run VS shocks and knuckles, you just have to swap the strut tops over.

You have to change the whole front end..

VS wider track...Change rack

Strut top change over ain't a straight forward swap

Real simple to put the VH control arm in...Lot less trucking round and alot less expensive

Wheels are a straight swap between them...No need for illegal spacers or custom wheels

Yes and sticking a VS crossmember into a VH is just as "illegal" even though that and spacers don't break any "laws". A law is a binding legality you have to conform with, car modifications are a regulation by a bureaucratic department.
Also according to you there's a plentiful supply of VS commodores being wrecked, you mentioned that when I was looking for a VS bonnet.
