vs steering wheel Torx bit

Hello does anyone know what type of torx bit is used for the 4 bolts holding the airbag onto the steering wheel

Also I only want to change the horn pad does the whole thing have to be unbolted or can the pad be pulled off.

You need a size 30H torx bit. The H means the bit needs to be the type with the hole in the centre. Some torx bolts have the raised bit in the centre, others dont..

Also I only want to change the horn pad does the whole thing have to be unbolted or can the pad be pulled off.

all you gotta do is remove the four screws holding in the hornpad and its free. if you have airbags, disconnect the battery and take out the fuse so that you can unplug the airbag... then disconnect the horn plug and its out. no yanking or pulling required
