hi,

Ive tried hunting around but am still unsure,

Mace sells a different (intake runner) manifold spacer for vs/vt and vx/vu v6 ecotec engine

Im just wondering the differences between the models

I know the vt? v6 i think has an egr valve, but am still unsure how this affects the lower part
of the manifold? I was lead to beleive it was part of the plenum? although im unsure

Does the late ecotec manifold have better coolant circulation?
From looking at the vs intake it appears to have coolant only travel through the front half
but the engine block has area coolant can travel through on the front and back.

thanks

I asked the same question recently on another forum.
The answer I got was that the VS-VT Plenum/LIM has its PCV ports in a different spot to what the VX-VY Plenum/LIM does. So you can interchange the whole Plenum/LIM together on a V6 engine, but you can't take the Plenum off a VS-VT & bolt it onto a VX-VY LIM as the PCV ports don't match up.
Maybe someone will put a pic up of the differences one day ?

Cheers

After VS the EGR system was integrated into the plenum as well.

But you could just plate that off to use a VX onwards Plenum/LIM on a VS ecotec hey ?
