Is that a bracket to space the caliper out to 330mm?

Its a VT 296 calipher what ever the stock vt disk is

A straight forward normal VT caliper bolts straight upto a VC stub axle, without adaptors...

That one didn't ? Close but not quite. Ole mate said hes seen that happen a few times why I posted the picture in the first place.

Is this VT caliper on a 298 disc?

no I cant as its all together now it may come apart again from the 2 minute drive I had of the car yesterday the conversion was a waste of time I don;t think it stops any better than before we started the car has only been driven a little bit so I shouldn't really say that but I wasn't impressed with its stopping distance yesterday, I should notice it as my daily has drums on the back.

it has a 1 inch master and the standard v8 double diaphragm booster.

VT use a fast fill MC that's at 1 1/4" IIRC.

thats what I think it wants its my cousins car he's getting pretty much the whole drive line rebuilt or changed while they are doing that they can sort the brakes is probably what will happen.
