Was getting sick of having to clip the right half back on, as it had a bit of wear an tear and someone's go at a repair in the bottom corners. most of the top tabs broken, and one fog light tab along with stress cracks everywhere.
Getting the shape back and the same on the bottom corners has been my challenge.
I've nearly got it ready for paint just gotta shape a few more tabs an fill a few pin holes.

The majority of the challenge is getting the shape correct, which likes you're on top of....So keep up the good work and all the pictures....:)

Got a little more done today untill I have run out of supplies,my putty had turned to jelly used thinners to get some life into it and used what I could.
Got to get a list going and just get some primer on it before the dreaded rust shows up,as I really don't need the extra work......!!!!

What metal parts have you added to it for that to be an issue?

Got a few rain days off work so got a bit more done. Did a dummy fit(no screws) just to make sure I didn't f**k it up,seems legit!!
All glassing is finished, just have to trim up side tabs then mark and drill on sides and top tabs for the srews, one more sand and hopefully primer over the weekend.

Got the primer on today, needs a sand and few little pin holes etc to fill.
It took a bit longer to get done,as I got the side skirts out of storage, and one had to be squashed and broken.
So I decided to clean the other one up also and spray them all at once.
Im just going to wait till I have spare cash to get enough paint to do the whole car(next project)so its all out of the one batch.

So I thought may as well do guards and bonnet while I was going then that will be the front end sprayed.
Got the guards off only to find this under the passengers side guard above where the aerial bolts to

I've put rust converter on it (shouldn't have bothered) as thinking I'll unpick the back half on the parts car and try and replace it with this

off the parts car out the back.
Guess the only way to find out how much I need is to cut the dirty tin worm rot out an go from there
