Drivers side park light is far brighter than the passenger side.
Brake light brightness is about equal between the two sides.
Bulb has both in one.
Tried swapping the bulbs around and tried a new bulb. No change,
Any suggestion?.
Many thanks in advance.
Also, heard that touching the bulb glass ( headlights in this instance) will somehow compromise the functionality.
Is this the same with rear bulbs?

It's best to keep oils from fingers off the glass. It can create a hot spot that decreases it lifespan. Wear gloves and clean the cold bulb with metho if you can see finger prints

Pop the globes out, and measure the resistance on both sides between the centre contact(s) and the ground. You'll find if there is a higher resistance on one circuit and then you can trace from there.

Poor grounding at the globe socket or somewhere in the loom.

The shorter (in height) wire in a double globe is thicker and therefore has more resistance. If it's not getting the full power it should from the battery (due to a bad connection in the wiring between the battery and the back of your car) then it can't light up as brightly as the thinner wire and will be dimmer. You probably have a worn out/damaged/loose connection in the wiring. Work your way backwards from the back of the light and with your park lights on, jiggle the wiring in places and if the light brightens/dims/flickers, you've found your bad spot.
