VU, auto trans?

Ive recently bought a VU with an L67 engine conversion. I totally love it, although it needs a lot of TLC. My question is, its a standard VU with a 3 speed auto, is this a weak transmission for an L67? I have no idea, not used to these models etc....

The 4L60E is good for up to 488nm of torque, providing the fluid and filter is in good condition.
