VF SV6 auto Ute.
my vx 2000 manual.
almost every morning, i drive to work. when i get around 12 minutes from home.
the tacho needle drops to zero and the engine stalls, then starts again, probably because its a manual and im rolling at speed, it starts again.
if i stop at all during the day, the stall doesn't come back.
its only the first drive every morning.
any ideas would be great.

Brett.

So it's only the first start of the day? So if you drive the car around all day it will not do it again?

that's correct.
Its only the 12 - 15 minute mark of every day. drive all day and it's fine.
doesn't mater what time I leave for work.

When it stalls and then re-starts do all the reds come on like you've just turned the ignition on?

If so, check your battery terminals and follow them from fuse box to battery to starter motor. Also follow earth. Make sure all are tight.

I am going to take a lot of notice tomorrow morning.
I will post if the dash ignition lights come on.
