Vx sunroof

Hi,

So I'm thinking of buying a sunroof (tilting one) but I don't know how much or how complicated it is to install, if anyone could shed some light on this it would be awesome.

Mate, unless you are exceptionally experienced in cutting/welding/painting and quite a bit of interior work, not to mention the wiring that will have to go along with it, I wouldn't do it. All in all, it is probably better you sell your car and buy one with a factory sunroof or go to a Body Shop and see what you can get with them.

Aren't the roofs between sunroof and non-sunroof models exceptionally different? I thought they needed extra strengthening or something along those lines?

^i think the brace that goes along the roof gets moved back.
i would get someone professional to do it because it wont take much to #### it up and it'll leak when it rains or may sit crooked if not done properly and its not like you can easily fix it.

Yeah man, get a professional panel shop to install it.

As Adds_05 said, yes, the brace has to be moved further to the back off the rook from memory.

Not something that if you #### up, can quickly fix.
