VY Adventra recoldering rear demister lug

Ok, somehow one of the male blade connectors has been broken off the rear screen, I can pull it off an solder a new lug on easy enough however I have as concern.


If I apply heat to the solder pad would/could it cause the rear screen to shatter?

Note: damn typo on subject... I ment resoldering

Not if you are quick, don't apply too much heat, use very thin solder like 2mm, pre solder (tin) the connector and wire and use a small 25 watt iron.
