VY S Sedan in Purple

Scored a VY S at Pickles auction Monday for $2,500 delivered and all fees included (bid was $2,150). Only has 145k on the ODO. Very clean car inside and out. The S pac has traction control and is on gas. It's had 2 owners that I can see - maybe a 3rd. Has VE SV6 rims on it I think.

It has hit a tree with only monor damage to the front, bonnet and front bar. Car drives well and is already registered

Idea is to get it fixed today with about $600 worth of parts and have it on the road tomorrow (replaces dead VZ killed on the road Monday 300m from home).

Thats a good buy man even with the damage, shouldnt cost that much to get it back up to scratch

btw, those wheels that are on it are genuine original VY series 2 s pac wheels. I hardly see any series 2 VY's with the original wheels, so youve got a score and a half. Very original, potential to be neat once that front is fixed

Mostly fixed now, bonnet closing, front reo fitting with some help .

About to put the radiator and headlights back in and take for test drive

I pickup new bonnet and bar tomorrow.

Always loved that purple. So good! Good buy man. A little effort and it will be a great car. Series 2 as well. I'm an LPG lover so I like that too

Yep,looks in pretty good condition and will be nice as properly repaired..what will it end up owing you all up repaired,painted etc?

So far $450 in parts and probably $400 on paint. So maybe total around $3,500 for car and repairs. I'm not costing any of my time - 2 days work is nothing.
