Hi all,

Is it true the slave cylinders are located inside the bell housing on a manual VY SS??

It is apparently leaking & I am not sure if the mechanic is trying to overcharge for the repair job or not.

Also, is it a better option to go with a spigot bearing or a bush on one of these??

Thanks in advance for any replies & tips.

yes the slave is in the bell housing and you need to remove the gearbox to replace so wont be very cheap as the slave itself costs around $150 and then labor, also go with the bush type spigot, you wont notice any difference in feel and it will last alot longer.
