VY SS HBD6speed manual 5.7ltrs of manual GRUNT!!!
No hole in throttle butterfly at all, the car is all original, according to Gregory's manual idle for 6 speed manual should be 650RPM ?

When were the oxygen sensors replaced last or have they ever been replaced ?

Just checked my manual and it says idle speed should be between 600-800 rpm
Seeing as you have already replaced the throttle body sensors, plugs & leads etc and given it thorough check over.
Only thing I could suggest would be to do an idle relearn procedure and see if that makes any difference.
# Disconnect battery for 10 mins
# Reconnect battery and make sure all accessories are turned off
# Start engine and let idle for 10 minutes with air conditioner on
# Turn air conditioner off and let idle for a further 10 minutes
# Turn engine off for a minimum off 30 seconds
# Restart car and let it idle for 1 minute (then take for a drive around the block)
Normally you would scan for any diagnostic codes after the relearn procedure but not everybody has a scan tool/program to be able to do this

This procedure worked on my VZ 1 Tonner when it wanted to idle at around 1000 rpm and I have not had any issue with the idle since (About 2 years ago)
And I also checked for diagnostic codes with my scantool and none were present either when I did the idle relearn procedure

Hi tonner
I did do a idle relearn procedure but only the 1 where you have to pump the throttle 5 times, not the 1 your suggesting assuming it's the same for my VY?

Hot or cold will make no difference from my experience
Would be a good idea to change the oxygen sensors anyway

Fairly sure VT2-VY2 is all the same 74mm butterfly thathas the crosssticth pattern on the butterfly they all have a small 1/8" hole standard, they all look like this, if yours does not????
