What were you going against? A barn find 253 that hadn't been run in 20 years?

There is a reason why many people don't really go down the power route with the Ecotec (unless its force fed). They were made to be an economical motor - that means fuel efficient and reliable...none of which = horsepower hero.

When you say fresh transmission? What do you mean? Is it an auto?
