Vz 05 wagon shuttering

Hey lads my vz is shuttering prity bad now it is slowly getting worse it’s wen I’m cruiseing along around 80km and just ease the throttle on it shutters like an old mole! I’m not gunna piss in ya pocket I don’t no much if anything about petrols I have few hilux’s (diesel) but its like its an electric problem or a sensor problem it’s not the running gear that’s fine as far as I’m told! Hahaha famous last words Nar I’m prity shore it’s sumthing along them lines! Anyone know or have had this problem and have the answer I’m chasen?? If so I’d be muchly appreciated if you could!! Not all DTC’s activate the MIL.

If it’s that bad, there has to be some DTC recorded.

I hate to say it but my thoughts are a transmission issue.

+ 1 get it scanned first if you haven't already. Better that than expensive guesswork.

Obscure long shot here, but if the 'shuddering' is basically occurring under acceleration, then it might possibly be a tail-shaft centre bearing issue (deteriorated bearing housing rubber).

Simply enough to check, to eliminate this issue.

The first few minutes offer a good example of the shudder with a rooted centre bearing. Not all speeds.

Yes this is a VE, going to be the same for VZ.
