Hi guys timing chains have been done in my car for four months, it has just started to rattle like buggery is it right that they do need tightening after so long of being done?

No, especially when it's the job of the tensioners (when they get lubrivated enough) to do that. You might have another underlying issue. Did they change the oil pump too?

Na didnt change oil pump.
