vz door speakers

Sorry if this has been posted before but I want to upgrade the standard door speakers in my vz and am confused reading other posts relating to this. I understand they are all 6 inch speakers but the fronts are splits with the tweeters in the dash, so will I need to buy a pair of splits and a pair of 6 inches? Also how easy is it to replace the tweeters if I have to?

for the front you need 1 pair 6.5" splits. the door pod the woofer sits in will need to be cut back about 50% to fit.
and the tweeters are under the dash easy to get to and swap out with the new ones.

you don't "have to" get splits for the front, if you are on a smaller budget there is no reason you can't go with coaxials
