VZ radio won't work (have code)

I had a double din in my car for a while but I'm selling it with the factory head unit. It's in and everything, but it won't do anything. It has the clock, lights up when the key is turned, but won't do anything else. It won't ask for the code or anything.

Firstly, I assume that you have actually tried to turn the head unit on using the ON/OFF button. :doh: LOL

When the double DIN unit was installed, were there any changes made to the wiring, in order to enable the double DIN unit to work? If so, that could be the source of your problem, especially if the original head unit appears to be neither turning on nor requesting the PIN (I would suggest that the BCM still recognises the original head unit PIN, therefore it isn't requesting it to be entered).

That was my first guess, try switching it on or off
