let me know how the 3.9's go, been thinking of doing this to mine as well as a high stall in preparation for a big cam down the track when funds permit

I had 3.9's in my manual VY S (needed it) and was good, but was super revvy at 100k's. Wonder how itd behave with the auto box

i didnt race that ford in the background it was another fpv ute which ran a 13.2, im getting the 3.9s fitted on Friday as there was a delay in delivery so should be all good to go next week.

Good to see that you have the leather interior too - it's a pity that the driver's seat has got that damage, but you can fix that up by buying some SS seat uppers off ebay.

I have 3.91's too. They rock. Have you got them yet? If not, DON'T go to Difftechnics in Kogarah - that fat bastard Con will bend you over.

im actually in WA so I don't think I will have that problem with con, my diff gears have arrived and will be fitted up on Friday.as for the seat never really noticed it myself till you mentioned it,next thing I was lookin at was an under drive pulley whats the purpose of them and will it actually be worth doin as I seen posts were ppl talk about that?

update : 3500 histall fitted and motive performance 3.9 gears fitted a lot better improvement when im driving on freeway im sitting on 2500rpm on 110kmph the hi stall is non lockup as I didn't know weather to pay the extra for lockup but seems to run fine.
