Drag day seems to have been a real wakeup moment for the thing, it feels stronger everywhere, lights the tyres up without too much effort now. Clutch is feeling like its found some more grip as well. Now that I've set a time with standard internals, keen to get the cam and valvetrain done now.

So it begins. Got to love the moment when you realise that you want more power.

That moment came when my VT 5.0 got dusted by a N/A XR6... Been moving up the scale ever since.

Door velour is a different colour to the dash bits. Hmm...

..To say the least. New clutch got in today, almost set to get started. Have two mechanic mates and a tuner lined up ready.

Ok so I sorted myself out some strengthened pushrods, pretty much good to go.

Someone actually wants to have me use this scrapheap to drive them around at their wedding on the 27th so I'm pushing the cam and that back until October.
