I got Bosch plugs from repco, platinum tipped at trade price was around $60, Slightly cheaper then what i was quoted from holden. I would definitely get them from holden unless you can get a discount elsewhere.

hard to change yourself.
or should i just go to a shop and how much would that be?
also would this solve the problem of my car stalling sometimes.

coils? I didnt think these motors had them, correct me if im wrong but it was electronic ignition as in all done by the computer?

One ignition coil per spark plug = 6 coils.

They plug directly onto the spark plug & bolt onto the engine to carry the weight & prevent movement.

A genuine set costs an arm & leg from Holden, but you can pick up Bosch kit off Ebay for about 30% of the cost of genuine ones.

Fitted a set today together with new plugs & front O2 sensors. Not a problem.

i have The EXACT problem with my 05 vz lumina, it just dosnt give when you floor it, its not the air filter nor spark plugs, its more so the gearbox and the ks on my car are 42000 :( i am unsure to get the gearbox changed or dont no what to do but i fell your pain

also yesterday my car stalled just on idle and it said change oil. although i checked the oil and it is clear as.
any ideas on which oil to use?

Not a prob impulsive. Feel free to take the p#ss ..... I hadn't read your total posts but appreciate the sense of humour.

lol not taking the piss mate, i honestly thought the alloytec was coil less, as there are no real Ignition lead to coil pack process.. similiar to my VR. Does this mean coils are Upgradable, assisting in more power and better detonation?
