Is the VZ auto the same as a VY Adventra box part from the transfer case? The VZ sometimes throws a code that says "No engagement of clutch C1 at neutral control on BCM" The machine has done in excess of 300'000 k's, I was thinking of getting the transmission serviced. If there is major problem I have a spare VY Adventra box, without the transfer box are they the same?

VZ SV6 yes.
VZ Exec No
VZ SS, No.

The Adventra is either 4L65e or 5L40e

Yes the transfer case is removable. You would have to source or swap the back over.
