VZ v6 Engine Coolant Flush

I have always just poured it in the rad cap and released the bleeder. When it's full I start it with heater on and keep topping it up. When thermostat opens top up again then put cap on and test drive it, not too far. When cool check again, top up and drink beer.
Any problems with this method?

It doesn’t get all the air out.
