sitting at the lights bloke behind me "accidentally put foot on clutch instead of brake" ie was on the phone. Slammed in to me at full speed pushing me in to the car in front as well. Hoping it has done serious damage underneath and get a write off.

Oh man that just sucks big time, mobile phones and texting ect with idiots driving and using them is getting out of hand, completely not your fault and some clown has ruined your car.

Oh ****, that's a devastating sight. This sort of thing is my biggest fear. I am always super vigilant of what other drivers around me are doing, but in cases like this there is really nothing you can do to prevent it. Simply a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yeah was pretty hard to stay calm!!! What can you do though, in the end I am not injured just have to deal with it.
I agree I don think I have much chance of a write off

cant stop stupid from being stupid , last time i was in this same position it cost me $1400 and a 12 month good behaviour bond , just hope the moron driver remembers me after all these years , Even the attending police officer commented he thought the other driver was high on something ???? hope it all works out well for you in the end ..
