Hi everyone,
Have put new rear shocks in WH Statesman and reconnected battery while it was still on the hoist and in full droop. Air compressor started running inflating the shocks.
Put the vehicle on the ground and the rear was at full height. Went for a drive and it dropped to normal ride height, all good was the thought at the time.
While having a bite to eat the rear raised itself to full height (car was off and locked!).
I thought that reconnecting the battery with it not at ride height was the issue. So, went for a drive, arrived back with rear height normal. Disconnected battery and left it for an hour. Reconnected, went for a drive and parked car, all perfect. Car has sat for two weeks unused and rear has been at perfect ride height.
Used car today and after parking it, the rear has gone to full height!
Anyone have any thoughts, or is there a calibration procedure that needs doing?
Worst case will take it to a dealer and let them wave their magic wand.
Thanks in advance.
