What difference does it make being closer to the end of production?
There will be so many bought and stores they are going to be great investments.
I've heard of people even picking their brand new cars on tow trucks to minimise the km on the odometer.

I'm happy to have a MY17 colour (LMF) but I understand that might not be important to others.

Signed for a 17 redline wagon for 61k. No extras. After all the stuff around trying to find a 16 wagon and not being able to get a surfboard into a sedan I'm happy with what I'm hopefully getting in a week or two. Thanks all for their posts and help!

Today I purchased an ex GM 2016 CalaisV V8 with 20000kms on the clock for $45k drive away.

The thing is absolutely mint inside and out. Heron..

Kinda beside myself considering it is the upgrade for an old VZ 3.6ltr.

Oh the noise it makes.... That wonderful, wonderful noise.

Holden are still allowing discounts for current and ex employees (not sure for how long though). I ordered a MY17 Redline in December under ex-employee pricing and pick up this week.

Looks tuff, what springs ?

The dealer i was dealing with had a 16 plated in stock (december) but couldnt say if they would sell a 17 plated to me this year.
Was there last week and i asked and he told me Holden have said NO more discounts on V8's this year.
Just going of his word.

Pedders XA coilovers, got em for $1800 fitted.

It's up to dealer discretion if they want to sell you a car using employee pricing. I had 3 dealers say no and lucky FTGH said yes, so 5 of us bought off them. The no discounts on V8's was for Holden Dealer staff, that was still applicable with last months price list. Haven't downloaded this months price list so could of changed.

My dealer is asking $67k, he didnt gimme a discount price.
