VB got some attention today. Came back from bodyshop yesterday; job looks good. But, they destroyed one of the belt rubbers in disassembling the doors. Went to wrecker and found one that was hard and brittle but intact. Have ordered a new fresh one and its coming this week. They also did not tape up the weathershield properly; chased up the bits to do that properly...no more wind noise driving along now...

Yesterday also ordered a hinge repair kit. VB getting a bit of PDR done Monday. Am still angry with VX's central locking. It goes to holden dealer tuesday, I have no time to fix it this week, and its pretty important......

VB down for a club outing tomorrow with local car club.

went to the car wash, bloody f****ng brush had mud inside that I didn't notice until I started rubbing down my boot, now I have a scratched boot, so I spent the day polishing the car up.

On the rare occasion I use a manual public car wash, the brush gets a degrease and pressure wash before it touches the car.

Why you would use that brush is beyond me. Just bring your own sponge.

I guess it depends on the place but the brushes at the local carlovers are just as soft and scratchless as any sponge I own. Nothing beats spending half a day at home car-wash lovemaking though.
