Took off rear wheels, put some spray sound deadener back on the inner wheel wells.

I had to scrape some off due to my striker issue so put some more back on.

Do you think the spray sound deadener makes a difference? Also what brand did you use? Been thinking of doing it to the car for a while.

Nothing.

Drove it, and still smile at the response of a V8 and sound.

Installed new CV shafts in the rear.

Tricks for the unwary - the long bolts go in the THICK cv joint, which are bolted to the diff. The short bolts go in the thin CV joint bolted to the wheel hub.

Must use the washers.

Breaker bars that shear through kincrome 8mm Hex drivers, then continue on to hit you in the eye are goingt o hurt. Alot.

Chock the rear wheels in position off the groubnd, stick a jack under the bottom shock eyelet, take the load and remove the bolt. This gives enough movement in t he swing arm to allow the cv shaft to drop out.

Taking the old boots off so it's easier to get to the hex bolts is a good idea. Taking our your nose with a screwdriver that slips from the boot tie is not a good idea.

Expect to be sore after working on your back for 4 hours.
