The Warren & Brown deflecting beam torque wrench I ordered a week ago turned up on Thursday so got stuck into removing and reinstalling JBR rear engine mount to get rid of some vibrations in the mps.

Put on new slimline black and white plates front and rear.

FYI for Victorians they're only $150 now and are kept in stock in all VicRoads offices. This is for regular sequential plates only, nothing customised. So you just get whatever combo is next, eg: ABC123.

pretty sure i only paid $99 to upgrade my stock plates to b+w slimline back in the day.

VB sat in the garage awaiting PDR on friday; partially disassembled didn't want to drive it in the rain.....

In the Fiesta, in the wet, on a freshly resealed bit of road (with heaps of loose, fine gravel on top) went around bend at what I thought to be a moderate pace. Back end just stepped out a fraction, ESP stepped in for a fraction of a second. At least I know it's working now! In the wet, traction control has also come on. Very abrupt system. Thought it'd be a lot smoother. Oh well.....
