I consider myself Black American although to be fair to my parents, I was born in the Trinidad (Carribbean). I once told someone that I lived 2 hours from where Brian Lara was born and that sounded quite nice, except anywhere you are in Trinidad, you are probably 2 hours, at least, from everywhere else on the island .
