When will you you flip your Zeta?

Do or die, I intend to

  • Be buried in the driver's seat with FBO

  • Drive it like I stole it, service it ad infinitum

  • Not drive it much, long slow goodbye

  • It's a muse mate, goes in the pool room

  • Sell it once the rest of the world appreciates it

  • CBF, flip it once it's shagged / out of wty

  • I lease, so the wife or accountant will decide

Diesel only, which goes alright but at 151kw/430nm I may as well buy a diesel Colorado which is 150kw/500nm. Bit shy of the 330rwkw/650nm or thereabouts my ute's got.

Not really into oil burners.
What cam are you running in your ute

I had planned to keep my VE SS for as long as I could...then the combination of it needing an engine rebuild and the final year of production arriving changed my mind.

Now I plan to keep my VF2 Redline for as long as I can :)

VCM 714, 232/234 @ .050, 114LSA, 603 inlet lift, 600 exhaust lift. Makes really nice power from midrange all the way up.

Gen F GTS
The Gen F GTS is a forever car - to be tinkered with once out of manufacturers warranty in 2020.
The VF SS wagon has been tinkered with plenty and will make someone else a happy camper in 3 - 4 months when I move to a smaller and quicker city car.

For me I have a SSVR LS3 ute I will see how it looks and feels in 5years, but I am leaning towards keeping her as it is the last UTE of this style. I have made a few small external changes just to be a bit different from the rest like wheels and grill very happy the way it looks and drives.

I'll probably keep the clubby for as long as it doesn't give me any issues. It's pretty much a weekend car at this stage, so won't be putting a lot of k's on it.

Never.

I will be keeping mine as a daily for at least 15-20 years. After that it will be put away and restored.
