Where did you mount your horn button (not in the middle of the wheel)

I was thinking of nicking the train horn lever off Mischa's work bench

The horn button in our work car was broken so we mounted a push button off the cup holder. This passed the rego check.

I'd just bite the bullet and buy a new boss kit as it sounds like something isn't right with it?
